Hushfolio is built so that we never see your data. There is no account, and we do not run a database of users. This page explains exactly what that means.
What we collect
Nothing about you personally. We do not ask you to register, we do not collect your name or email to use the app, and we do not run analytics that profile you.
Where your keys and balances live
The Binance API key, secret, and any wallet address you enter are stored only in your browser's local storage on your own device. They are never sent to a Hushfolio database or saved on our servers. Clearing your browser data removes them permanently.
The one request that passes through us
Browsers cannot call Binance directly, so the web app sends your read-only key through a serverless function that signs the request and forwards it to Binance. This request is processed in memory only — it is not logged and not stored. The native mobile app removes this step entirely by talking to Binance directly from your device.
Third parties your device talks to
To show balances and prices, your device (or the proxy above) contacts: Binance (your balances), public Ethereum RPC nodes or Etherscan (your on-chain balance), and CoinGecko (public market prices). We do not share any personal information with them beyond what is technically required to fetch this data.
Cookies & tracking
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The site may collect basic, aggregate traffic counts that contain no personal identifiers.
